At Antioch Raleigh, we love and value every child as an important member of our community and church.
Our goal is to pour into your little ones on Sunday in order that they would encounter Jesus in a fun and enriching environment. And we also desire to help further empower you, as their caregiver, to be the most important trainer and equipper of your child.
Current Details and Safety Precautions
Classes:
We are currently offering in-person kid’s church for our 18m – 2yr, 3 – 5yr, and Kindergarten – 2nd grade classes.
Check-In:
Time & Location: Once you and your family have arrived at church, you will be asked to check-in any of your children that will be attending Antioch Kids. Check-in will occur in our upstairs, main lobby. Upon checking-in you and your child will get your security tags (see more below) and proceed into the Sanctuary for worship. After worship, the kids will be dismissed and parents will walk any checked-in children to the front lobby where our volunteer team will confirm your security tag numbers and then walk the kids to their classrooms.
Security Tags: Once you and your child’s information is in our system, we will provide both the parent and child with a security tag sticker. Please keep your sticker with you and in sight during the service as we will flash your security number on our screen if there is any issue with your child during the service. You will need to present your sticker upon picking your child up so that we can be sure that we are returning each child to their guardian.
Symptom & Temperature Check: Upon checking-in we will ask that you review and complete the symptom check-list. Any child that presents with symptoms on the list (defined below) will not be permitted to attend Antioch Kids that Sunday. We will be taking each child’s temperature at the check-in desk.
Safety Measures
Volunteer Expectations: All Antioch Kids volunteers are required to wear a mask and will be going through symptom and temperature checks any time they serve. Volunteers who have been exposed to a person with Covid or who have traveled to a Covid hotspot within two weeks of serving will not be permitted to serve at Antioch Kids until they have completed a 2 week quarantine with no symptoms or temperature present.
Cleaning: All hard surfaces and toys will be cleaned before and after service with CDC recommended chemicals and procedures. Any toys that have been placed into a child’s mouth will be immediately put into a designated bucket and sanitized before being reintroduced to the classroom.
Snacks
We will not be providing snacks or drinks to any of our classes at this time. Children are permitted to bring a water bottle from home.
Antioch Kids Waiver
We ask that every child who is going to attend class at Antioch Kids has a signed waiver completed by their guardian. This waiver is to be completed annually and is a requirement for admittance.
